The Rio Vista Police Department and the Solano County Sheriff’s office invite you to join our latest crime fighting team. Join the Sheriff’s Security Registration and Mapping (S.C.R.A.M) Camera Registry Program. Video surveillance can be vital in solving crimes in your geographic location.
- Both RVPD and the Sheriff’s office want your help to fight crime; by taking part in the Sherriff’s SCRAM program. SCRAM allows residents and business owners to register their locations of their video surveillance systems with the Sheriff’s office.
- When a crime occurs, officers, deputies and investigators will be able to identify the locations of nearby video cameras and enlist the assistance of you; the citizens of our community to help collect video evidence which can be the key in solving major crimes.
- If a citizen’s security camera is registered; the RVPD will be able to contact you the citizen for the video surveillance that could be vital in solving the crime(s) that occur in your area.
SCRAM is completely voluntary! SCRAM is a great example of community-law enforcement. Agency partnerships are highly valued by Rio Vista Police Department and the Solano County Sheriff’s Office.
