A selection of Linda's work

Linda Fead is a native born Californian with a history in doing art for many years. She has lived in Rio Vista for
21 years. She is a retired Medical Assistant and Communications Operator for Kaiser Permanente. She has been
president of the Trilogy Art Guild and is president of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Linda studied Life Drawing and
Watercolor at Las Positas College in Livermore and Life Drawing and Charcoal Drawing at Solano College. In
addition, Linda has been mentored by well known artists in the Bay Area. She has worked in the arts for many
years, in watercolor, acrylic, oil, charcoal, pastel and textile media. She has received many awards and created
the artwork on one of the Bass Festival tee shirts. In the past few years Linda has created wonderful felted wool
scarves, animals, landscapes and portraits. Currently the Gallery is featuring many of her wool figurines and
portraits. The animals are particularly charming. Linda teaches wool felting and pastel drawing once a month in
her studio.
The RioVision Gallery, at 116 Main Street, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, and
features an amazing variety of paintings, photography, 3-D pieces, wearable art, and jewelry. See’s Candies are
also sold as a fundraiser to help support the gallery. Drop by and visit with the artists who volunteer their time
to keep the Gallery open.
