The Sunday Market’s Harvest Market sponsored by the Delta Bay Foundation and hosted at Park Delta Bay has been re-scheduled to Oct 31, 10am to 2pm due to last weekend’s historic rainfall. Vendors selling stained glass, jewelry, home-made soaps, metal work, hand-crocheted items, antique collectibles, fresh organic veggies by Silo Farm Organics of Walnut Grove, and so much more will gather in the central meadow of the 12-acre Park Delta Bay RV Park and Tiny House Resort, located at 922 W. Brannan Island Road, on the California Delta Loop. Children’s activities hosted by several ladies who live at Park Delta Bay will keep children entertained in a fenced area adjacent to the market in full view of their parents’ watchful eyes! Randy Carey, a singer/songwriter from Sacramento, will entertain customers and vendors alike! Anyone appearing in a Halloween costume will be given candy forTrick-or-Treat!
The Park served as a collection station for donations for those impacted by the fire which devastated nearby Rancho Marina Mobile Home and RV Park; and is still collecting canned goods and other nonperishable food for those impacted by that fire earlier this month. Sufficient clothing has been collected and the organizers, including the owners, staff, and management of the Lighthouse Sports Bar and of Park Delta Bay, thank the community for their generosity. Come on out to the Harvest Market, and enjoy a pleasant fall morning while shopping for yourself, your home, or holiday gift-giving! Anyone with questions can call Corinne Corley, market manager and secretary for the Delta Bay Foundation, at 816-520-9152 (yes, that’s 816! she’s a Missouri ex-pat!). For directions, call the Park office at 916-777-5588. See you at the Sunday Market’s Harvest Market! (photo attached)
