Federal pandemic protection for renters facing eviction expired on July 25th.  This may leave a number of home and apartment renters in the County vulnerable to eviction due to the Coronavirus economic slowdown.

Solano County offers temporary help for county residents who may need funding for a month or two of rental assistance.   To find out what is available, contact CAP (Community Action Partnership) Solano.  This is the best resource for information and potential government assistance for rent payments.

CAP Solano is in Fairfield at 1000 Webster Street and by phone at (707) 428-7749. The agency website is http://www.capsolanojpa.org/welcome.html.

The Solano County Board of Supervisors has scheduled a segment during their Tuesday, August 11th meeting to develop sources available to Solano County residents for rental and home mortgage assistance. The meeting is available online at the Solano County main website, under the CALENDAR section.  The meeting will begin at 9:00 AM.
