Drive your Pets to Get A Blessing Sunday October 3

St. Brigid’s Deacon Susan Reeve delivering a special blessing to a precious pet at the 2020 Drive Through Animal Blessing event.

From 3:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, October 3, 2021 Saint Brigid’s Episcopal Church and Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church will hold a DRIVE THROUGH Blessing of the Animals at 218 California Street (that’s on the corner of South 2nd Street and California Streets, also known as Hunter Hall).  Load your pets into your car and park along the curb. The blessing will be delivered through the car window to allow Covid 19 social distancing.  Please leash your pet to be sure they stay safely in the car, and mask yourself to be sure you stay safe too!

This celebration honors Saint Francis of Assisi, lover of Animals.  Bring your pets, reptiles, farm animals…we welcome all species!   Come and bring your companion animals, dogs, cats, snakes, turtles…furred, feathered, scaly and smooth!  All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small.  All things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.

This event is open to the community and everyone is invited.  For more information call 707-374-2667.  We thank Walt Stanish and Pets 4 All for their sponsorship of this event.
