Danielle Elizabeth Simpson Music Memorial Concert July 15, 2023

Lifetime Rio Vista resident, Rio Vista High School graduate, and local business operations leader; Danielle Simpson died at the family ranch on June 14^th. Danielle loved the many animals she shepherded, winning national acclaim and championships competing with her Large Red Horse-Drawn Wagon and Percheron Horses. She also was a respected Sprint Car racer, and served our community admirably as the Lead Stage Technician for the Rockin the River Summer Concert Series in downtown Rio Vista. Danielle is the daughter of Dan Simpson, long-time Rio Vista resident and local business owner, Lion’s Club Governor, and active community supporter. Her mother Zan Simpson lives in Rio Vista and is planning a Day of Celebration for Danielle at The Point Restaurant on August 12th at 2:00 PM.

Based upon Dan’s love for music, and his belief that sometimes music knows just how to touch and how to heal, he is scheduling an evening concert of remembrance on Danielle’s behalf.

• Event proceeds will be used in the establishment of a Danielle Simpson Memorial Scholarship Fund at Rio Vista High School..

• Downtown Rio Vista; at the End of Main Street, Adjacent to the river.
• Free Admission
• Fund Raising Activities: Raffle, Auction and Donations
• Musician: Nationally-acclaimed Tim McGraw Tribute Band – Vegas McGraw
