Mayor Ron Kott has made arrangements with the Solano County Dept. of Health and Social Services to conduct a flu shot clinic, to be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2020. The clinic will be conducted at the Rio Vista Municipal Airport located on Baumann Road. The clinic will start at 9 AM and extend to Noon. The flu shots will be free and open to all over the age of 6 months. The doses being administered will not be the quadravalent dose but the normal flu dose. The shots may be administered in a drive-by to maintain social distancing. Those details are still being worked out. This session will be the first of two sessions. The next one is still unscheduled but will likely be in November and at that time the county may have the quadravalent doses available. Again, the date is Wed the 30th from 9 to noon. No reservations are required or will be taken.
