July 24th
- Officers became alerted to a vehicle traveling west through town that was associated to a homicide. RVPD requested Suisun City and Fairfield City Police Departments BOL for the vehicle. A short time later, a deputy from the Solano County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle enter the city of Suisun. The deputy and officers from Suisun Police Department stopped the vehicle and detained the occupants without incident.
- Night shift officers arrested a subject for driving under the influence of marijuana.
July 26th
- Officers took a missing person report. A juvenile ran away from home after having his cell phone taken. As officers circulated the area looking for the missing juvenile, they were contacted by the parents that the juvenile had been located.
July 27th
- Officers were summoned to Lira’s Supermarket regarding shoplifting. The responsible was gone prior to officer’s arrival, however he was contacted the next day by officers. A crime report was authored and sent to the District Attorney’s Office for prosecution.
- Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Logan Street for a domestic violence incident. The responsible party punched, kicked, and chocked the victim before leaving on foot. Officers located the suspect and upon completing their investigation, arrested and booked the suspect into the Solano County Jail. A judge was contacted and an emergency protection order was granted.
- Later in the same day, the suspect from the domestic violence incident called the victim (a violation of the emergency protection order) and asked the victim to bail them out of jail. A second crime report was authored and sent to the district attorney’s office.
July 29th
- Officers received a BOL from Winters Police Department regarding a stolen 2021 Ford F250 truck. Later the same day, an officer spotted the vehicle traveling through town. The officer conducted a high-risk traffic stop and took the driver into custody. The driver was booked into Solano County Jail for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property and two outstanding arrest warrants. The vehicle owner responded and the vehicle was released to him.
July 30th
- Officers responded with the fire department to a report of a vehicle vs pedestrian accident on Highway 12 near Church Road. When officers arrived, they located a subject on a mountain bike that said he had fallen, but was not injured and there were no vehicle’s involved. All units cleared the scene without locating any other bicyclists or involved vehicles.
