Judy has been on the board of the Rio Vista Foundation for many years. She ran an auction fundraiser for a picnic in the park to help raise $1M to build the new city swimming pool. She also was instrumental in the Women’s Improvement Club project to create the “Welcome to Rio Vista” sign/garden at the traffic island entrance to downtown at the signaljunction of Hwy. 12 and Main St. She has been a very hard worker for the improvement of our town for a long time. Once, her late husband, Hank, was honored as Man of the Year for Rio Vista. Judy was a long-time realtor in Rio Vista, and she helped my wife, Marian, and me purchase our home, here. In 1973 she and Marian were installed as charter members of the local chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

My sons will always remember Judy’s period fashion shows, as will I, because she had them model little boy dresses from the late 1800’s (they were like 4 years old and had no say in the matter – lol). She has always been a delightful, gracious, loving friend.
Happy Birthday, Judy!
