Writing Workshop: Online Story Gathering Project
Limited space – Register today
Monday, June 08, 2020
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Solano County Library and Berkeley-based StoryCenter invite you to join a special online story sharing and writing workshop for our community. During these times, we thought it important for people to have a chance to gather and listen to each others’ stories, and make something creative, a short written story (one page). The program will have you respond to a simple prompt, and lead you through a simple group feedback process, with then a chance to re-write and share your story. The gathering will be led by one of StoryCenter’s facilitators, with years of experience in creating safe and supportive spaces for helping people share stories, in person as well as online.
Requirements
You will need internet access and a computer, smart phone or tablet able to run the Zoom conferencing software (most newer computers can).
If you are interested, just go to https://www.storycenter.org/story-gathering-solano and apply/register.
