Four celebrated bands will be playing at the Inaugural Rio Rock Music Festival Charitable Fundraiser on June 18th at Rio Vista High School. It promises to be a memorable day/evening of energetic music performances, food, drink, and adventure; headlined by these bands of talented significance:
One of the top Blues Brothers Revues on the planet, Michael St. John “Jake”, and Marten Benatar “Elwood”, have recreated the same energy, excitement and atmosphere of a show by the original Blues Brothers Band. Bob Kinney, Instructor at the Rio Vista Art & Music Center, is the group’s Music Director. The performance is an interactive revue that leaves audiences with a smile on their faces and a Blues Brother heart.
Skynnyn Lynnyrd
The General Manager of Harrah’s Reno was quoted exclaiming “I saw the original Lynyrd Skynrd Band when they opened for ‘The Who’, and if you closed your eyes you’d think it was the real Lynyrd Skynrd on the stage”. River Ratz
A local Rio Vista Band that plays country, classic rock and contemporary music; led by Rio Vista residents Michelle and Rob Stahlman. Headlining many local Delta venues, the River Ratz are sure to please with their local flavor and world-class talent.
