Put on Your Walking Shoes – Saturday is the Big Day, August 24!

After months of planning, a few hiccups and a lot of hard work,  the big day for the 10th Annual Hog August Bites Rib and Chili Cookoff is finally here this Saturday! With temperatures expected to be in the high 70s to low 80s it’s shaping up to be a fantastic day!

Come out and explore over fifty vendors, enjoy a variety of food options, and participate in fun activities for the kids. Bands on two stages will keep you movin’ and groovin’ to the music and the gleaming cars on N. Front St. will captivate you.  The Solano County Sheriff’s Bear will be on display and the mounted patrol will be there, too. Check out the t-shirts, this year designed by local artist Rel Rogers, available at the RioVision tent.

The highlight of the day will be the ribs and chili of course! They are the stars of the show! Get your tasting tickets for People’s Choice at 45 Main St. Venmo, PayPal, credit cards and cash are all accepted!

This event  would not be possible without the support of our sponsors and the hardworking volunteers. We thank you all for your continued support.

We also want to thank everyone who comes out to spend the day with us.

See you this Saturday!
