Original Isleton Crawdad Festival is Making a Return to “Crawdad Town, USA

The one and only original Isleton Crawdad Festival is making a return to “Crawdad Town, USA,” where it all began.

The festival has been an important part of the community since 1986. It started with a group of locals and the Isleton Chamber of Commerce.

After a brief hiatus, it has returned to Isleton, where devoted followers have long cherished the image of the well-known crawdad painted on a Second Street structure. If not that, what else shouts “original”?

The celebration is held on Father’s Day weekend each year. The dates for this year are June 15–16. They guarantee that you will not be disappointed. Located downtown on Main Street to bring “Main to Magic.”

With many added improvements from last year:

Extra music is added
with a second stage.
A Carnival.
Kids Zone.
Cajun Foods and
Beverages.
Hired a Professional
company to manage
the traffic and parking.  Adding more signage.
10,000 pounds of crawdads and shorter wait times for the crawdad boil.
More areas to cool off, eat, and rest.
Additional retail booths
In and out privileges.

The head chef will be Sharky’s Chicken & Fish’s renowned chef Toby Tayeh.
